Thank you for your interest in Camp St. George! God-willing, each summer we are blessed to host many campers at Ewalu Camp and Retreat Center in Strawberry Point, IA and are excited you are interested in joining our wonderful team!

Staff training is held on Saturday and Sunday prior to camp and attendance is mandatory. You are responsible for transportation to/from staff training and camp. If you need assistance with carpooling or fuel funds, please let us know. Please note that campers may not attend staff training and you must have medical insurance for the week of camp.  Please arrive on Friday, June 27th by 4:00 PM to be prepared for staff training through June 29th. Food and lodging will be provided.

Staff closing evening will be held on Saturday evening July 2nd. Food and lodging will be provided. If you need assistance with carpooling or fuel funds, please let us know. Please note that campers may not attend staff closing evening. 

It is required that you read the entire staff handbook prior to attending Staff Training. Make sure to bring a copy with you to camp. You can download the handbook here →
